Hi Mandy. It's the 4th generation 8GB and 16GB Nano's that are accessible. I don't use I-Tunes to rip CD's as I'd already got a very large collection of MP3 files before I-Tunes was anywhere near useable with screen readers. I imagine it will rip directly into the I-Tunes folder that is created in your "My Music" folder when you install I-Tunes. I manage music manually on the Nano and continue to rip using media player and then just copy and paste the albums I want to listen to onto the Nano. Once you've got everything set up it really couldn't be easier. You need to beware of recent I-Tunes releases though as they have just released their most inaccessible version of the software as far as JAWS is concerned anyway. I'm using version 8.0 with JAWS 9 and not using the J-Tunes scripts, I don't need them as I don't use I-Tunes on my computer as a library or player, I have better programs for that purpose. Regards. You don't even have to use Apple's I-Tunes player. Once you've told I-Tunes that you want to manage your music manually then it's a simple case of browsing your music using windows explorer, copying using control + C and then alt tabbing into the I-Tunes windows where you paste your music onto your Nano. What could be easier than that? If you want to play with I-Tunes then you can keep your collection in the I-Tunes library and either sync the lot if you've got less than 16GB of music or sync selected playlists. I can't believe that's any easier on the Mac than it is on windows. Regards. What the original poster never said is if the end user has an Apple machine running itunes - in which case plug in the ipod and within the files menu select sync then sit back and Robert, as they say, is your mother's brother! The difficulty begins when you try and do the simple thing on a windows box and that is why friends I am sitting on an Apple mac book and have an ipod nano. :-) Regards G From glorious Devon, England. I think my friend must know about iTunes because she does listen to music on the playher.
