Hi Mo,

No, you can't do that.  You need the licence number, which in turn, is tied
to the IMEI.  They are not that silly ,Smile>.

hi steve.

Out of curiosity, when you flash the telorian rom to the handset do you have
to enter a serial number to activate the software? also, is the software
tied to the handset IMEI? if not, then I could surely just backup the
current rom and flash to an identical handset. the handsets are rooted
anyway.

cheers,

Mo.

Hi Mo,

Your best bet here is to write to contact@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx and ask
the question.  I'm not sure of the answer, since they don't support
putting it on phones other than the Doro ones any more.

Subject: [access-uk] Transfering telorian to a new handset?

Hello Everyone.

Wondering if someone can advise on the following. I have a
telorian/claria vox handset here that's encountered some damage. Its a
samsung galaxy S4 that has some ear peace issues due to what appears to be
water damage.
Sourcing a new handset should not be a problem, but would it be
possible for me to transfer telorian on to the new handset?
I should not have to pay for the software again surely? Any help much
appreciated.

all the best,

Mo.
