Yes for some reason total Recorder stopped working for me last year after a
Windows Update on both my laptop and desktop.
There was also no response from their support despite my sending multiple
emails. I heard a rumour that TR is no longer developed or in reality supported
and my experience seemed to bear this out.
Luckily for me I found an better program and even better it is free.
Virtual Recorder works absolutely fine, is easier to setup and use than Total
Recorder . Just set up your recording output options - that is bitrate etc, and
press record, then press stop when finished.
The program creates a Virtual recorder folder in your documents folder which
will automatically save your recordings as mp3 file or whatever format you
want with a default file title based on time and date of recording.
It is on my DropBox on

Subject: [access-uk] Total Recorder and Windows 10
Hi all.
Is anyone using total recorder with windows 10?
Trying to record a stream on a laptop using total recorder but no sound is
being captured.
Are there any total recorder settings or sound settings that need to be made to
enable recording of streams being played on the laptop?
If anyone is using another program to record sound from live streams, it would
be good to know what you are using as well.
Thanks.
Kevin
