It is becoming more prevalent on this list for contributors to insert
their
comments into the body of earlier notes to which they want to make a
comment.
I recognise that this does follow normal conventions on groups.
In my view, it is not the best way for people using speech output on a PC
to
follow a debate.
Visually, there is the hint of bold or greater than symbols. Equally
these
can be read in Braille and establish where a new comment starts.
I don't think most people using speech would get all punctuation read
out.
This means that the new comments are simply interspersed into the earlier
note. This is not easy to follow.
It is much easier to follow with top posting; if the person thinks it is
necessary to add context from an earlier note , then addict, with lines
saying "quote start" and "quote en".
What do other list members thin?
