Hi Graham.

I see what you mean mate. No point in going all the way down there for a weekend, if you are unable to identify a particular stand. It's the same up here with Sight and Sound in April, in Glasgow. As I said, it's full of cctv's, white canes and pensioners. I'm really interested in the newer technologies concerning home entertainment, multi-media and wireless systems, but as Andrew and other's have pointed out Sight Village is not the place to see these in action. That's a pity for if not there, where should I go. Hi-Fi 96 in London perhaps?

Best wishes.

Andy

Hi andy.

This is a long issue with sight village, the kinds of products I mean, not
the drinking. that is never a problem!!!

There are catalogues giving information about the companies that will be
there, adverts from the companies that you can read and details of where the
companies are situated but, particularly if you know nothing about the
field, how do you know which stands to go to in order to see the kind of
product you are interested in?

I am not being critical here as I know it is difficult to get this
information from all companies but I for one have missed interesting
products at sight village through not even knowing they were being
displayed.

Cheers

Graham

Hi all.

I really fancy visiting Sight Village this year to see what is on offer,
particularly concerning multi-media accessibility: Surround Cinema and
Wireless hi-fi..

Has anyone got a programme for the event or info regarding lodgings and
transportation from Glasgow. Or better still, is there anyone planning to
visit and would be interested in lots of drinking over the event?

Best wishes.

Andy
