Right, thanks for clarifying that. But is 16GB the highest it will
currently work with? I'm still using an Iriver H340 with an old version
of Rockbox on it. This works a treat, and I use it all the time because
of the hard drive capacity.

The speech on the Nano is not built in. Itunes generates it from any
SAPI voice on your computer. This is the joy of it. I can use my
favourite Acapela Lucy to make my Nano talk. They've done a great job
with it.

In addition to what has been said already, I had a brief look at the
I-Tell at Sight Village when it was launched. I actually thought it
was a very clever device in that it allows you to use any iPod except
the iTouch and iPod Shuffle devices. From what little I saw of it, I
thought the voices weren't too bad compared to some I've heard. As long
as I could hear what I am selecting to play, I'd be happy with that.
I'm still yet to try out a Nano to see what it is like with the built-in
speech menu system.

Yeah, it does sound like Dectalk, hence me not liking the speech at much
as I would when I get my new iPod. I know a friend who's got an iAudio,
but can't remember what exactly it is, apart from that it's a hard
drive-based player.
