Try this Carol, it works whenever I want to get into the site:
http://www.ic-online.co.uk/

I don't have a phone number. I probably got it off the site at the time because I rang my order. Blimey it must be nearly two years ago now (smile).

Jackie,

That web site doesn't appear to be working for me. Did you ever have a phone number, please?

Hi Andy

It sounds knackered then, the poor chap.

I bought my Colorino from a company called S W Retail, and I think it was about the same price as the Cobolt detector, £50.

I must say I use them both regularly. The Cobolt detector, as you know, has a wide head which makes it good for distinguishing clothing. But I like the Colorino for smaller items, and for getting more detail out of an item of clothing like embroidery and stripes. For example, today I've put on a very deep pink top which has a grey stripe down the arms. The Cobolt detector told me it is red, whereas the Colorino says it is intensive pink. The head on the Colorino is smaller, so you can get more detail from tiny items. I wanted to put some jewellery on to match the top, and I got the colours I wanted from the Colorino. I'm a bit fussy about dress code, so I spend a bit of time doing my utmost to get it all co-ordinated. And if both fail, I go and ask my son if I'm dressed to kill (smile.)

The contact details for this company are:
sales@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
or
http://www.swretail.fsnet.co.uk/

Hope this is of some use.

Jackie

Jackie -

It just keeps saing "white" even when there is no light on, usually it just
bleeps, but not now!

The colorino sounds more accurate than the Colbolt, is that right, and how
much do they go for these days, and from where?

Thanks -

Andy

| Shame Andy. Hope you get it sorted. I've had mine for a long time now
and
| would hate to be without the olive green fanatic!! I also have the
Colorino
| device and usually grab it if the Cobolt one lies to me, or when I am
being
| really fussy and need to know what shade of purple I want to match up, for
| example.
|
| Out of interest, does the light probe side of your seemingly faulty chappy
| work? I'm just curious to know whether the colour detection bit is
| knackered, and whether it makes any noise for actual light.
