Hi ChristineFor what it does, I don't think 94 pounds (which I think is the cost of the internal card I have) is that expensive. It's less than the cost of the Netgem box and is far far better in my view.
Glad you had a look at the site. Brian Hartgen MSN: brian@xxxxxxxxxxx SKYPE: brianhartgen SKYPE IN UK: 0208-133-7186 SKYPE IN US: 213-985-3581----- Original Message ----- From: "Christine Weetman" <goatmum@xxxxxxx>

Isit worth it?If you have a PC in the same room, no. Get the Nebula. It is much better, gives more access to the EPG, allows you to record as well as play, and is just darned good. 2. How much does it cost these days? About 100 quid I believe.3. Is it better than an ordinary box (is the difference in price worth it)?To be honest, no. In fact, it is an ordinary Freeview box, with audiodescription, and a few human generated talking prompts. This is one of itsproblems. Every time new channels come online, you get Unknown Channel, instead of the name of the channel, and I hear they rarely update it nowadays. 4. is it good? No. 5. How do I go about getting it? I believe RNIB may still be selling it, but I may be wrong about that. 6. Should I not bother and just buy another freeview box for £20 Sadly I can't get free sat or sky as I live in a rented property so can'tput a dish up, and I can't get cable as the cos don't seem to operate aroundhere, and I'm off NTL very much at the mo! If you want Audio Description, then an ordinary Freeview box won't, ofcourse, do the job. You could get the Netgem, but again, if you have a PC,consider the Nebula offering. Visit http://www.nebula-electronics.com to find out more. Sorry, I really can't get enthusiastic at all about the Netgem, I couldn't from the day it hit the market.
