Hi, Heck you could even root it and remove all the Tesco stuff, that's the beauty of Android. I am completely new to touch screen but realise after windows 7 for me there is no option other than to branch away from windows so I'd rather do it now and in my own time rather than be slung in the deep end. As for accessibility, I believe from what I have heard, all the android tablets are very accessible, they are all based on the same interface, ok the tesco one has an icon for the tesco stuff but you needn't use that if you don't want to, you can still use the rest if you need to though. I had someone sited on hand when i got the tablet, so can't comment if the gesture's there or not as i didn't try it my self. To be fair, i have been in to apple stores and the staff haven't even been able to enable accessibility for me, and trying to do it my self didn't help either. maybe i just caught them on a bad day. it depends where you go, who you speak to etc. android is a perfectly viable alternative, especially since the release of android 4.2. i have never had money to splash out on apple goods, nore have i got the time to be tied to the restrictions apple and itunes impose. just my opinion, not wishing to start a debate... Tesco's tech support don't seem to know about accessibility, even though they use the word repeatedly in their blurbs, but presumably meaning something else. Staff at my local Tesco have hudl t-shirts, but they don't know either. I take it that there's a gesture to start the accessibility functions, as there has been in previous Android devices. Trouble is, they keep changing it.
