Hi,

Heck you could even root it and remove all the Tesco stuff, that's the
beauty of Android.

All the best

Steve

Hi Mo and all

like all new technology well to me in any case, it takes a
bit of getting used to, I got mine on Tuesday and made the
mistake of trying to do too much in one stretch but little
but often is the best way. I am completely new to touch
screen but realise after windows 7 for me there is no option
other than to branch away from windows so I'd rather do it
now and in my own time rather than be slung in the deep end.
As for accessibility, I believe from what I have heard, all
the android tablets are very accessible, they are all based
on the same interface, ok the tesco one has an icon for the
tesco stuff but you needn't use that if you don't want to,
you can still use the rest if you need to though.

Regards

Adrien

Hello Vince.

I had someone sited on hand when i got the tablet, so can't
comment if the gesture's there or not as i didn't try it my
self. To be fair, i have been in to apple stores and the
staff haven't even been able to enable accessibility for me,
and trying to do it my self didn't help either. maybe i just
caught them on a bad day. it depends where you go, who you
speak to etc. android is a perfectly viable alternative,
especially since the release of android 4.2. i have never
had money to splash out on apple goods, nore have i got the
time to be tied to the restrictions apple and itunes impose.
just my opinion, not wishing to start a debate...

Mo.

Mo, thank goodness for a straightforward answer at
last. Tesco's tech support don't seem to know about
accessibility, even though they use the word repeatedly in
their blurbs, but presumably meaning something else. Staff
at my local Tesco have hudl t-shirts, but they don't know
either.

I take it that there's a gesture to start the
accessibility functions, as there has been in previous
Android devices. Trouble is, they keep changing it.

                perfectly useable!
