Hiya's.

Steve, fair play big fella on the apology.

Carol and others. I see both points here.

Steve's, times money. It might seem a bit harsh but he's a business man and business is about profit. He'll chime in from time to time and it's usually pretty good content.

I have been known to write up a tutorial here or there for somebody or even a step by step. And for applications that I'm not totally on the ball with I can identify with the time it can take. I've been asked to help person X with a task ina piece of software and went and downloaded the software if I didnt' have it, play about with it and then do the step by step and email that off or call the person and take them through.

But I'm a student and especially in the past I've had the time to do that.

I dont' think Steve was trying to cash in. I wouldnt' blame him if he was. grin. But soliciting isn't nor has it ever been a characteristic on this list.
Carol, I'm still catchign up on the mails here as I've alot of personal crisis's going on at the moment plus I've two weeks left of my degree and I've piles of work to finalise. But I hope you got your Tesco's difficultys resolved.

Barry.

Hi Carol,

Please don't unsubscribe on my account, none of what I said was meant to
cause offence. However, in a previous message, I thought you said that
because you were blind, you couldn't easily work out tables. I may have
misread this, as I don't have the message, and if I did, I sincerely
apologise. The intention was not to offend as I say, merely to try to
explain why it was quite difficult for me to write this up for each of the
three screen readers, without sitting down and really thinking about it, and
to be honest, I don't currently have the time to do that. If I did, I would
make a tutorial on it, but I simply don't have the time.

Anyway, again, I apologise for causing you any offence.

All the best

Steve,

I have a conceptual notion of tables and (if you read what I was
saying) I have read tables with Jaws but I don't really understand this one
and, like others, just get lost in it.

I used to be good at this stuff (as some folks will remember) but I've
suffered illness and continuous fatigue which now make it pretty impossible
to learn much and, frankly, I don't think I want to stay on this list with
your constant unhelpfulness (over some years now) so I'm unsubscribing.

Thanks.

Carol
