I have never found that update button, but I will look more carefully next
time. All I found was text saying that unused coupons would be kept.

Hi Wendy
After you tick the e-coupons you want to use there is an Update button below
them that you need to press to activate them.
If you subsequently discover they haven't been added you can go back into
your orders and select "change order".
You will then find an option to add e-coupons there, but you still have to
click on the update button after ticking the e-coupons you want to add.

Subject: [access-uk] Tesco site

I have just received a very clear explanation from Tesco about how to add
relevant E coupons to my orders. I asked for this because I am unable to
add coupons, except those which are price promise or £5 off next order. I
will paste below their explanation.

"I can confirm that when adding vouchers or coupons to your order, you would
usually need to add the codes at the checkout stage when giving your payment
card details. However, we have recently introduced "smart eCoupons". As
long as your Clubcard number is attached to your online account, any coupons
you have that are still valid would be included in your online wallet.

"The list of coupons that you can see below the edit box is your online
wallet. As the codes are already listed here, this would result in you
seeing the error message that you have been presented with. Below the text
box that enables you to add your coupon codes is a list of the Smart
eCoupons. These would let you know which ones your order qualifies for. If
you wish to apply any of the valid codes to your order, simply tick the box
next to the ones you wish to use and complete your order. The "Use code"
button only applies when adding a code that isn't listed below it."

My problem is that checking the boxes simply does not add relevant coupons
to my order. This has been going on now since they introduced the new smart
code system. I was just wondering whether anyone else who uses the Tesco
site is having similar problems.
