I think it does as I've had cases of people not being able to install
software without setting an account to administrator.

Hi Douglas,
In all honesty, I can't remember if XP Home
actually insists on an administrator account as it
does with XP Professional.  I may be able to
confirm later this week when I set up a new system
for someone.

I'll try to remember to get back on this one
later.
