Sorry to chime in here, but I believe Steve was asking for suggestions that are
NOT sold by the RNIB etc.

I love my Magimix nespresso coffee machine. Very easy to use, and also has a
milk warmer and frother. Very easy to use and clean.

I am also a big fan of halogen ovens, very quick and convenient.

My other useful gadget is a electric slicer and grater from Tefal. I have a
Panasonic bread maker which I used to use when I had vision, but find it a bit
tricky now as the LCD screen is not accessible if you have no vision. Anyone
know of any accessible bread makers?

Thanks

Chris
