Yes, but the chimes have got to sound melodious. I was going to purchase an old kitchen clock. The lady selling it called me to let me hear how it sounded. I said no to those chimes rite away. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Shea Anker" <svanker@xxxxxxx>

Hi,
I think so too. I would love to own either a Grandfather clock or one of those old mantle clocks that tick and chime the hour.

I loved those Baby Ben's I had one once. I love the sound of a ticking
clock in a home. It makes the home seem warmer, and gives it texture. I
think.

Hi,
I love my Braille watch. I like the fact that I can check the time while
in public and not have everyone who is near me hear that I am doing so.
Besides, I find the sound of most talking watches and clocks very
annoying. In fact, I would love another Braille alarm clock. I had one
when I was a kid.... I think it was called a Baby Ben. Wonder if they are
still being made somewhere.

I don't use my perkins much nowadays but it has its uses for things like
labelling cds. I know there's the dymo gun, but I like to use all the
contractions available to me and of course the dymo gun doesn't have them all. I did try with the dymo tape and adaptor but the tape used to fall
through no matter how tight I pulled it, so dots didn't come out very
well
for me. I use the sticky back plastic sheets and get someone to cut the
lines out for me then I cut the labels. I write as many words as I can
on
each line. that may be a few album titles or just 1.

I still have my old tandy talking clock. It's 25 years old or so and I
guess if I put batteries in it should still work. I don't though as it
takes 3. quaint and dated though it may sound, I love it. I used to
have
the sharp talking calculator, the 1 with the alarm and timer and all that
on
it. would love to have 1 of those again, plus the Sharp talking clock
and
the Vox talking watch, though I bet there's few of those left. They were
so
fragile.

Jill.

Trust that George is with this.

The good old Perkins has stood the test of time!

Great machine and it is/has beenng upgraded!

Any other product or device which stands the test of time "technology

Let's not forget before!

Simple and swift reply!

Many thanks
