[access-uk] Re: Talks and broken mobile

Barry,

I'm not Steve, but since she bought the phone from Orange,
doubtless they will have a record of the transaction and
serial number of the phone. Does the phone have an Orange
logo on it?

I'm sure if she takes the damaged phone into her local
Orange shop (ideal the one she purchased it from) her
worries will be lessened.

George.

Hi Steve

This is good news. However, my friend bought the mobile
from Orange with
Talks installed. Will she still be able to transfer the
licence if she can
show that the mobile is broken?

Thanks

Barry

Hi Barry,

She will need to provide her dealer with some proof that it
is broken, an
insurance document, or a note from a shop to say that it is
broken and
beyond repair, then her dealer should provide her with a new
code. If it is
me, ask her to contact me.

All the best

Steve

Hi all

A friend of mine has broken her mobile that has talks on it.
How can she
move the licence to a new mobile?

Thanks

Barry
