Thanks for your responce Clive, no I didn't know about those models, mine
isn't one of them, maybe I should checkout the softwear which c\omes with it

What digital recorder is it? Have you heard of the new Olympus recorders,
the DS30, DS40 and DS50? These have a built-in talking guidance system
where most of the menu items speak in a pleasant female voice. Sorry I
cannot help with your particular recorder.
