Steve,

I was only trying to be helpful!

I'm in The Irish Republic so we don't have Freeview by the way.

I'm assuming the talking line-up voices are those of Sky so hence me thinking that my suggestion may just very well work but it didn't I hear.

Perhaps the number I gave out may be of use to some however.

It might be worth folk taking a look at the regular EPG guide which will of course require assist as the talking line-up gives me 998 and we know that does not always work.

I rest my case now and sorry for any inconvenience,

Tony Sweeney

It still won’t work, so this is irrelevant.  You can’t use Freeview numbers on a Sky box.

Hi Darran,

We've taken a look again now and we see it's 0064 on our 4Life Combibox.

The problem is of course that I changed the number a while back so 'twas difficult to remember.

As a matter of interest I'll take a listen at the Line-up to see what the reader says.

    Hi Tony.

I tried out your suggestion yesterday and I'm afraid its a no go.
Nothing doing on channels 0062 or 0063.

    Simon, all,,

I wonder if you've tried any of the numbers I gave out here a few
    days ago?

I use them on a free-to-air box but I believe it's the Sky channel
    line-up I get.

I guess uniformity of such numbers is desired but from my point
well if whatever works for us well then..

    The numbers again are 0062/0063.

By the way I configured them to another that I can easily
    remember, simply 33!

            Hi all

I am assured that this has been fixed now, although you
may need to turn off your box at the mains for 20 seconds
to get the update.  Do let me know if it’s not.

            Cheers

I have a very old sky digibox and 996 is booming in on it
            no problem.
I also have the sky q and 996 is barely audible there.

Don't know if that's the HDMI connection as the scart lead
certainly works a lot better with the old box.
I use the digibox to receive UK EPG as ITV and BBC radio
etc are not very easily accessed on the q box here in Ireland

                    hello all,

since channel 996 is still not working, is there
an easy way to get an up to date list of sky
channel numbers, as sky seem to have messed about
with a lot of them again, and it is proving next
to impossible to find my usual channels with out
                    the good old 996.
