Ah, but will it tell me the title as I go through the folder?  If so, I
don't mind an error message.

Cheers

B

Hi Barry

Martin says that if you take out that bit and put the book in the Other
Books folder, you will get an 'Error Seven' message but it still plays.

Kind regards,

You're spot on there, Jackie.  I can hear the negotiation between RNIB and
Harper Collins, with HC saying that they will give the books for free only
if the blurb is at the beginning.  It would have been a deal breaker if I'd
have been involved with the RNIB because it breaks accessibility.

Can I take it out using Explorer, or does that screw up the whole book?

Cheers

Hi Barry

It drives us round the bend as well.  Also, these books aren't DAISY
structured, so we tend to put them in the Other Books folder rather than in
the DTB folder because we can't get proper navigation there anyway such as
amount of chapter left etc.  I do wish RNIB would do something about this
gratitude blurb, the title of any book makes so much more sense than that!

Kind regards,

Hi all

I get RNIB talking books on pen drive so that I can transfer easy to my
Victor Stream.  However, when I do so, any books by Harper Collins do not
say the book title when arrowing through the TB folder.  Is there anything I
can do so that I don't have to listen to that irritating blurb about the
RNIB being grateful to Harper Collins?  Don't get me wrong, I too am
grateful, but I'd rather have the book title.

Thanks in anticipation.

Cheers

Barry
