Hi BarryNo, it's got a good strong voice and no cockerel. It's one of the better ones with loads of functions. A little thicker than many but it's reliable. I'm really only mentioning it because of it's vastly reduced price but it's of fair quality.

Does it have the quasi Japanese American voice and the ping before the timeis announced? And, does it have the damned cockerel? Cheers Barry----- Original Message ----- From: "G. I assume it's older stock now. However for those who like gadgets it's quiteversatile for this cheap price. It gives you time, date, year, stopwatch, 4 alarms, hourly announcement, andcan be set for a 12 or 24 hour day. It seems good value from Cobalt and so I'm recommending it. www.cobolt.co.ukThe voice is fairly good too - it's very polite and announces 'Good morning. . .' and the appropriate time of day. I may have the watch number wrong but it should be easily found and ordered. Regards.
