Hi Eleanor

No they are not large, just a flat scale with buttons on the front that you
can feel. You can purchase them from Steve Nutt, or from S and S.

Where would I get it from Jackie and is it a large item?

Hi Eleanor

We use the Vivienne kitchen scales from Caretec. They are definitely more
expensive, but very accurate. The voice is pleasant, there is no bowl, so
you have more options in using your own weighing container. It determines
whether you are weighing oil, milk or water, and has a timer plus time and
date facility. Very nice scales, like most of the Caretec products.

Kind Regards,

I am aware that RNIB sell two types. Has anyone any experience of using
talking kitchen scales and which one do people on list prefer?
