The point is that they ar every avaialable according to E.On. My wife found an
article about how E.On had co-operated with RNIB on developing the talking
in-home display. I know that other people have had these displays from other
companies without as much difficulty as I am having.

I would be interested to know if there are any members of the list who
have E.On as an energy supplier and who have successfully managed to
get a smart meter and a talking in-home display. I have found trying
to get this company to give me a talking in-home display to be one of
the most frustrating experiences of my life. Promises have been made
and broken. The company they use to do the installations in our area
claims they cannot provide talking in-home displays until at least
March of this year. E.On claims this is not their policy and promised
that as our smart meter has stopped sending data that they would
provide a new installation with the talking display. Now they are
telling me they are out of stock with talking displays and cannot say
when they will be available again. I have never experienced such
dreadful customer service. I would be interested to know if anyone's
experience of this company in this issue has been better than mine.
