John, there were two or three on this list a few weeks ago it might be worth
asking if they are still available.

Cheers

Hi John

I don't know of any other talking DAB radios apart from those you have
mentioned. I have come to the conclusion that your best bet would be to use
an iPod Touch to obtain Internet radio stations by downloading a cheap or
free app. It would be slightly cheaper than purchasing the Sonata, and
certainly more portable if you have a WiFi connection. Commercially
available Internet radios are just not accessible to blind people, but Apple
have made this possible with VoiceOver.

Hello list,

Can anyone recommend a talking DAB radio?

I did have a Pure Tempus and when the Sonus came out I bought one of those
and moved the Tempus to the kitchen. That has now given up the ghost.

I have tried to source a new Sonus but without success.

I did think about the Sonata internet radio. However, I am not eligible for
a free one and think that the price tag is a bit hefty for a kitchen radio.

Thanks for any help.

Regards, John
