Yes,

that is a very clear sounding voice.  People tell me it is a nice looking
clock as well.  My one won't set the time via radio control but that is most
likely something to do with the signal in my area.  It is a nice clock and I
understand it has a large display if that helps.

What about the radio controlled clock.  I don't use the alarm, so don't know
what it sounds like, but the female voice is very nice.

I agree.  We have four old-fashioned striking clocks with hands in our
house.

But can anyone recommend a small clock.  I have had a Slimline clock for
nearly 20 years and it is dying.  Most of the new clocks seem to have very
strident
voices and chimes.  And I hate that awful cock crowing alarm!
