Hi Dave,

Well nothing has been agreed yet, so if they thought they could do
something - about which I'm a bit sceptical - I would need to ask the
landlord, definitely. I'll see what they come up with. Even if they
can give me a simpler way of knowing what's what on the thermostat, I'd
be more than happy with that.

As for Braille or paper bills, I do like to have these wherever possible
because they are quick and easy to go back to in a hurry, or when you
are away from the PC.

Hi, glad to hear this. You do have to make sure they'll do it with a
rented property as some won't, and that thelandlord is happy for them to
do anything like it as they will certainly have to make major changes to
that system to make it accessible for you.I think these are the systems
of the future, probably with touch screens rather than buttons though!

Don't forget many utility companies give discounts for online billing
rather than having braille now, and a lot of this is usable and pretty
accessible.

Cheers
Dave
