ian describes the process as being more comfortable than it was on my phone 
but yes I think the two descriptions equate to about the same thing.

Sunil, while pressing the button at the bottom, push your thumb against
the raised bit near the top of the phone which surrounds the camera
lens.  Push towards the top of the phone and the back cover should pop
up at the top.  You can then just lift it off.

Whats the secret of taking the back of one of these phones? I pressed
the button thing at the bottom of the back of the phone but I gave up
trying to take it off when I busted my finger nail and really hurt my
thumb. When pressing down are you supposed to slide or prize the bit of
plastic away? From what I can figure out sliding isnt the way to go
because the bit of plastic seems to fit around the camera so is the best
way to get your nail underneath and pull it clean off? - the plastic not
your nail!...ta muchly
