thanks Iain.  I've had a DM which was notified to me by email and which was 
there on my Twitter account on my iPhone.  but checking the Twitterific account 
and doing as you suggest, it is not there.  The DM to which my follower 
responded was sent as a general tweet via Twitterific this morning.
