the wish for more developments for tvonix box are probably going to be
unfulfilled, as the company went bust.  if they have given the OS for the
box to open source plus the screen reader software, then there might be some

more devilments.

Peter and I bought our TVOnics in May and are really pleased with it. We
have recorded a vast number of programmes and hardly ever watch live
television
now, except for sport.

Twice it has stopped speaking for some reason, but I have solved this by
switching it off and on at the mains. It usually stays on Standby all the
time.

We had trouble at TV Switch-Over, but I used the Manual Tuning option and
it works fine now.

Last week the remote control started misbehaving, but that was put right
with new batteries.

I hope there will be more developments, such as a way to find out how full

the disc is. This is displayed on the screen when the Library is accessed,

but it is not
spoken.
