I can can confirm that my box hasn't recorded the second viewing of Eastenders on bbc3 at 10pm.

I think if the recording is started during the program or is interrupted then the next repeat is recorded.

john maybe that is why?
it may be clever to realise, as you didn't catch the start of the episode but started it as it was ongoing, the box assumed you would want the full episode on bbc3
interesting option that.

I have had mixed results with the box recording the same program. I have Coronation Street set up as a series link. So far the box has only recorded one episode and not the same episode on plus 1 or itv2. I recorded Eastenders last night and set up a series link. The repeat on BBC3 was also recorded. I started the original recording slightly after Eastenders started.

Please let RNIB know any bugs that you find. We monitor this list. I am writing this from my home email.

Hi everybody, today I want to tell you about the recording facilities of the TVonics box. There are two types of recording, instant record, whereby you just press the record button, third button right hand side of the remote, followed when prompted by ok, the other timer recording, which can either be done by setting a timer manually, whereby you enter the start and end times, or, which is far easier, using the guide. When you find a programme in the guide you want to record just press record, and it will be scheduled for recording. If the programme is one of a series you'll be asked if you want to record all the programmes in the series, and if so to press the blue button, bottom row right hand side of the remote, and it'll schedule recording for all episodes of that programme it finds. If it's just a one off programme you'll just be prompted to press ok. One thing to note about series recording. Where, for instance, a programme is repeated on the corresponding plus one channel it will record those too.
                  John.
