Hi Ibrahim,
If I just swap the drives and stick in the usb stick with the binaries would
this work? As the non-HD drive is also TVonics would it not be already
correctly formatted?
Kind regards
Aedan.

Hi Aedan.

a Proggy like Acronis True Image or Norton Ghost should be able to do this
for you, however beware, make sure you cloan the drives bit by bit as these
boxes are fussy with the partitioning structure and any inconsistencies
could either render the drive unrecognisable or force a reformat. You'll
also need a couple of drive caddies for the drives.

All the best, Ibrahim.

Hi Mo,
Can you advise on how I might clone a500g drive from a TVonics dtr-z500 non
hd from my TVonics dtr-zhd500g?
I have both binary files. If anyone is stuck I can let them have copies.
Kind regards
Aedan.

Hi Jeff.

You may have to reload the speech file on the box. Put the TTS file on a
memory stick, then pop in to settings, accessibility and see if there's an
install option or if not, an enable option. if it doesn't let you install
it, you'll have to format your hard drive and reinstall the TTS package. Let
us know how you get on.

Mo.

I reset my TVONICS rceiver/recorder and the tex to speech file has

The message keeps saying "can not locate text to speech file." It
doesn't say it it just appear on screen.
It directs me to the website but that doesn't help.
This came from the ~RNIB preloaded any advice?
Jeff
