Hi,

Separate the difference that and using a set top box with recording
capabilities?

As far as I believe, a licence is required, at the concession rate (usually
half price)

Just a clarification to you all.
If you are only going to use the on-demand services like BBC iPlayer, a
license is not required, since you are viewing the program after it has been
broadcasted on television. Only if you are viewing programs while they are
being broadcasted is a license required.
