Hi Dean,

Time for an update for you. You have Version 1 of Wayfinder, go get Version
2, and enjoy the what's around you mode. It will give you all the stuff you
like in Trekker, including your left/right information.

All the best

Steve

Ah now the poste code support in Access in fantastic and is a big
plus over Trekker, together with its versatility of being turned into
a GPS for the sighted in an instant. I can be some use as a passenger now!

As for improvements, I like how Trekker says the intersection with
rode a on your left, road b infront etc as your just walking
along. I also love how Trekker lets you put a POI in where you are
stood, I don't think Access lets you do this? There is also the
Trekker free mode which can be handy but if your a good Access user
you'll probably get used to checking where your nearest crossing or
favourite is using one of the tabs. Trekker, in my view, is a
slightly better system because it announces things automatically when
your not in route mode and there are more one touch
buttons. Wayfinder then beats it for me with its size, versatility
and postcode search facility. Oh and I carry my phone everywhere and
Trekker, particularly in summer, can be awquard with a T-shirt, geans
and no bag. I can't totally make my mind up between the two but I
must say that the Wayfinder maps are comprehensive with less no named
streets, something I hear Humanware haven't improved on in certain
parts of the country.

Oh well sorry that turned into a bit of a bitty post but I hope you
can make sense of it.
