Brian I too have just ordered another watch and like you I think that the prices for anything remotely decent is absolutely outrageous. I ended up spending nearly £50 on a fairly girly looking watch. I don't liked the talking ones so always opt for a Braille one. We were very disappointed in the range now available at the RNIB. the cheaper watches are very clonky, not very nicely designed. My wife wanted something a little more feminine, but there was nothing available in the lower price range which was remotely "girlie". To get anything more feminine, you have to pay a much higher price and even then, the choice is very limited. what do others think, and are there any lther sources of tactile and talking watches?
