I had the same trouble but didn't know what it was.  I sent a message to 
their technical boffs and got a message back suggesting that my IE settings 
were wrong.  No mention of a second basket nor how to use it.  I stopped 
using Tesco's.  Sainsbury's is a little more expensive but their choice is 
better and their service is much better.

Problem is we don't even think to look for it and I only vaguely thought I
saw it once.  I wonder if others have missed it.  If enough of us do then I
might just start talking to Tesco to find out just how it works and whether
we really *MUST* have it.
