I believe you are right with this, Steve. Using the access site has made me somewhat lazy in using the net to shop but, as it's so easy, I tend to be reluctant when it comes to using other shopping sites that are less accessible. A good lesson learned for me. I hate accessible sites, as they are never maintained, never kept up to date, never have the same facilities, so always I would say, learn the main site, if there is an accessible one, as that will be the hardest thing to do, and I reckon that your web surfing skills will improve because of it. But that's just my opinion, of course. All the best -- Computer Room Services: the long cane for blind computer users. When you find a product, you often see special offer link. If you open it, a new browser window opens and explains the offer, and how long it is valid. No difficulty about that at all. One is your search commands, and button locators, and the other is table navigation. If you are confident at those two things, you should get round the Tesco site fairly efficiently. But if you are always in a rush to get things done, you won't do it. It pays to study that site a bit, and you will achieve exactly the same speed on the main site. The buttons and links for example just seem easier to navigate somehow, and make more sense. However part of this however is probably because I know my way around the access site, and with a bit of practise I daresay the same could be achieved with the main. One of which is that they allow you to store your credit card for future use, whereas the accessible site don't, so checkout is a lot quicker. Also, you can't use e-vouchers on the accessible site. Also you don't get all of the special offers on the accessible site either. In short then, an accessible site with no access to what you want, is no use at all. We did a complete monthly shop on the main site last week, and it took 20 minutes. I now love the way that you can show all favourites in the main site, just do a jaws or window-eyes find on what you want, hit the add 1 to the basket button, then do a jaws find on the next item and so on. I feel that the main site, is very quick now if you know your way around it. All the best -- Computer Room Services: the long cane for blind computer users.
