I get something similar but find when you don't get a response from pressing alt r, if you wait a while and press alt r again, System Access loads up. It's almost if it is a timing issue where the request to press alt r comes before the software is ready for you to press alt r. regards David Quarmby quarmby@xxxxxxxxxxxx 07736 087019 0207 217 8023 ----- Original Message ----- From: Peter Beasley To: access-uk@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Sent: Sunday, August 26, 2007 11:21 PM Subject: [access-uk] Re: System access to go No! it doesn't work for me. I press enter when prompted but when I press alt plus r to continue, it does absolutely nothing. If I turn my screenreader back on, I can see the usual message, i e, do you want to run or save this file. ----- Original Message ----- From: "martin wilsher" <m.wilsher@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx> To: <access-uk@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> Sent: Sunday, August 26, 2007 8:48 PM Subject: [access-uk] Re: System access to go > You need to be patient with the system, at the moment it's a bit slow as > it > loads wav files to help you install the reader.
