I'm not sure what to suggest then, as perhaps a firewall you've installed may be preventing the setup programme being able to run properly. For example, if you use Zone Alarm, it might alert you that it's trying to access the internet, and thus prevents the programme from loading further. If this is the case, then I can't suggest anything else as I suspect that it would do it to most setup files you try to run. Sorry if I can't be of any help. Try disabling your firewall if you have one, and see if that works.

Maybe yourself, or someone else on this list could suggest something that may work with my set-up but do the same job. My set-up is Windows XP 2 with SP2 plus all latest updates and Jaws 7.10 with latest updates running on an acer laptop.
