Hi,

I have tried to do it that way too, but the tracks are shooing up on the
drive, but will not play on the machine. My sighted daughter looked and
cannot even see the songs listed. I can see them however, on the drive,
which shows up as the F drive.

Hope that makes sense, but I am running out of ideas.

Don’t need to install the software that comes on the CD. When you hook the
iRiver up to your PC with the USB cable Windows should recognize it as an
additional hard drive which you can access via Windows Explorer. Holde the
Windows key down and press ‘e’ to to get to ‘my computer’ and you should see
it in there along with your floppy drive and CD drive. You can put stuff
onto the player by highlighting whatever you want to put onto it, copying it
to the Windows clipboard, locating the iRiver player in Windows Explorer and
pasting it over.

Subject: [access-uk] Synchronising an Iriver H320 with Windows Media Player

Hi,

Can anyone help.

I have just obtained a new Iriver H320 jukebox MP 3 player, and am having
problems putting music on to it.

I was advised to use windows media player and synchronise it across that
way. However, windows media cannot find the device.

I have installed the relevant software that came with the machine, but am
still having no luck.

Can anyone help, or give me another suggestion as to how to get music across
from my PC to the MP3 player.

I did not choose this MP 3 player, it was a gift, so am not sure as to how
user friendly it is.

I am using jaws 6.01, windows media 10, and windows XP.

Any help much appreciated, as I am completely lost as to where to go now.

Many thanks.

Sharon
