[access-uk] Re: Supernova 9.01.

Hi again Steve.

The pensioner I'm talking about does not have a pair of speakers attached to her computer so it is possible that the sound is indeed there and she is simply not picking it up because she has no speakers.

She's been asking me for over a year for some form of tutorial to tell her which keyboard commands to use. As I said, the old soul does not have a clue how to use this program, and being a JAWS user, I'm of no help to her.

Best wishes.

Andy.

Hi Andy,

You can't have Supernova with no speech. If your friend has that, it is
likely to be Lunar. Anyway, Version 9 is so different that it may be
confusing if you get that manual.

All the best

Steve

Hi Trace.

When you get it up and running, any chance of a copy of the instruction
manual. Don't use it myself but I know an old pensioner who has a copy of
Super-Nova with no speech with it, and who does not have a clue how to use
it. I've been trying for months to get her some instruction on how to use
the magnification side of it but not had any luck.

Best wishes.

Andy.

I finally got my computer sorted out to day, it needed new ram and so have
installed this version this afternoon, haven't had time to play though.

Got it on cd from dolphin and was horrified to find that I've been charged

a tenner for postage etc, it cost them sixt odd pence and a jiffy bag, I
didn't even have to sign for it, I was told it was two fifty, I'll be
questioning this when I return the vat form.

Hi all,

Just upgraded to Supernova V9.01, and I have to say I am very impressed
with
the new internet support. Anyone using Supernova, I would advise you to
download the 30 day demo, you will not be disappointed.

All the best

Andrew
