The diffrences between the paid and free versions are the pro updates
automatically, the free doesn't, and the pro version checks for threats in
realtime, the free doesn't, you can also scan at user defined times too with
the paid version, the free version is a manual scan.

Thanks, Caroline.  I've downloaded the free version.

The thing that annoys me so much we these companies that they don't readily
give information as to the difference between a paid for (professional)
edition and the free version.  I really like to know about these things
before I decide which version to take.

If you or anyone has any further information on this, I'd be glad to have
it.
