Quick Mix does not work in Windows 7.

It sounds like UAC - User Account Control - is asking for you to confirm
something on screen.

Sometimes you have to alt+tab to focus the UAC dialogue box then do an
Insert+b to find out what it is asking you then choose yes to allow or not
not to.

Subject: [access-uk] Strange problem with soundcard on computer.

Hello listers,

I have a strange problem with my computer, I now and again and without any
warning will hear uac saying something like uac and then my computer seems
to go silent!!!

I have to get my daughter to tell me what is on screen, the computer is
locked then I unlock it in the normal way, but then it would seem that the
sound card is muted!! I have quick mix installed and loaded settings that I
had saved but it does not make any difference!!

I have to get her to unmute the sound can anyone give me any way to stop
this from happening? has anyone had this before? I am using window's-7
ultimate with all updates. with thanks.
