Mandy - If I'm understanding you, I think you are experiencing what I do using JFW9 and Vista Home, in that in some list boxes on some websites, I hit enter, and arrow to my selection, but if I hit numpad plus to come out of the list box, and review my selection, JFW reports that nothing has been selected, and I have to re-enter the edit box several times to get my selection to stick. What I have discovered is that if I stay in forms mode, and tab forwards or backwards, to select from other list boxes, JFW sees the selections ok! This use to happen on my old XP machine too, it seemed to be a JFW9 problem to me, as it didn't happen with mhy earlier version 6! - Andy ----- Original Message ----- From: Mandy To: access-uk Sent: Sunday, March 01, 2009 10:22 AM Subject: [access-uk] Strange Problem? I am not certain how to explain this. I am using Windows XP: IE7 and Jaws 10. I have often found on a site such as Tesco and sometimes Sainsbury's, when I add a product it does not always register it is very frustrating as it sometimes results in me adding an item three or four times so having to look carefully at what I am buying although underneath each item once added it does say how many of each has been added: I put this down to something lacking in their sites. Now I am having a similar problem with Facebook no matter whether mobile site or other - the button to add someone simply does not register unless I press f5 afterwards, nor the send a message or the third which I've forgotten. My son, looking at the screen, said that when Jaws says it is on the button it is nowhere near. Question: could I have something set amiss in my IE browser, might it work differently with Firefox which I do have installed or are there any other helpful suggestions or has anybody else experienced anything similar? I do check that the screen is maximised - I did install auto-sizer but it seems to jumble everything up unless I only have one programme open at a time - is that the secret of that programme? Mandy.
