Does anyone know if there are other programmes like mp3 gain, that work on other compressed formats, such as ogg, or wma?
Google didn't come up with much, but I might have used the wrong search terms.

Hi Andy. I would suggest MP3GAIN as your best option. It's free and easy to use and can be used to set all files to the same average volume. This is different to normalisation which sets all files so that their maximum peak volume are all at the same volume. Normalisation can therefore still leave files at different volumes as perceived by the ear. Even the best tools like MP3GAIN can make mistakes occasionally though so I'd set the volumes and then have a listen before you burn and change any individual files to your ear. As some are louder than others, I'd like to standardise/normalise the volume level for all files. Is there a free tool that will do this for me?
