Hi Sandra,
I have installed the Microsoft anti-spyware and things seem fine apart from
my husband and I have different home pages. I receive a message saying that
my home page setting is'''''''so and so, but when my husband loads his home
page it is something different and we have to keep accepting the change, is
there a way of getting around this? Or do we have to have the same home
page? This is not a great problem but I just wondered if we could have
separate home pages.
I know from the list that you are far more knowledgeable than I am about
Windo-Eyes, so I am hoping you may be able to help me with this. I have
just loaded a program which is spamware, it is called Qurb email spamware.
I think it is brilliant, extremely easy to set up. The only thing is I am
unable to access the menus at the moment. I believe all the menu items may
be icons and therefore have to be named. I do not know a thing about using
the graphics dictionary so wondered if you would be able to help?
The address for this program is;
www.qurb.com
There is a 14 day trial. I am so impressed with this, I have all the spam
sent directly to the quarantine box and hardly any setting up necessary. Do
you have any suggestions as to how I can access the menus? As I say, I have
read your messages on access uk so know how well you seem to know
Window-Eyes. I am afraid when it comes to using manuals my brain just seems
to seize up. I know Steve Nutt says just read the manual, but I admit to
being very bad at this.
Regards
Mary

Hi Mary,
I use the Microsoft anti-spyware program with Window-Eyes version 4.5 and
can get along okay with it. You can schedule an automatic scan to run
when you want it to. Mine is set to run a scan every day at 6.30 am
before I start usingmy computer for the day. Apart from that, as George
says, it's running in the background all the time so is constantly
checking. The updates are automatic with just an okay button at the
bottom of the notification. If you give it a try and have problems, write
to me off list and I'll try to help.
Cheers,
Sandra.
