Hi Alison
I think you are correct, I haven’t had office 365 for very long, and every
day a learning curve <smiles>.
Kind regards
Henry

I’m pretty sure it has had this current lay-out since going over to Office 365
and it just takes a little getting used to.
One query I do have though. I have a document which I am working on and before
closing it, I spell check it. It finds a couple of spellings and grammatical
queries which I have told it to ignore before closing the document, and yet,
the next time I open the document and spellcheck it, it comes up with those
queries agin. I thought that once you hit ignore and then saved a document,
spellcheck would remember.

Hi Alison
Many thanks for the confirmation. I haven’t carried out a spell check on a
word document for quite a while, hence my original question.
Kind regards
Henry

Hi Amro
Thank you for your below reply.
As I didn’t receive any responses yesterday, I contacted the Microsoft
disability help desk and they remotely access my computer and I was able to
demonstrate the issue I am experiencing. Subsequently, the young lady told me
that the new spell check screen being displayed is the result of an MS update
to word and she explained how to use the screen.
With regards to your suggestion, if I press control and enter there is no
response, however, if I press tab I can cycle around several options.
I created a word file with 4 errors and then I pressed F7 to carry out a spell
check. The following are the results:
first jaws announced - Editor Overview. 4 Results Review all Button To activate
press Enter. E
when I press tab Jaws announced Corrections: 4 expanded
next tab Refinements: 0 expanded
next tab Settings Button
To activate press, Enter. I viewed this setting but couldn’t identify an
obvious change.
next tab Review all Button To activate press Enter
when I press enter on this tab, I am presented with the first spelling error
and then I can either ignore with alt plus I or accept the changes with alt
plus c, then followed by the next word errors.
I am completely confused with the advice from Microsoft as I have never read
on this list about a similar issue. What I have discovered on the web, there
is an editor in word 2016 and I wonder if I have accidently turned this on with
an incorrect keystroke? I do hope someone on this list will confirm if they
are having the same problem. My word version is: “Microsoft Word Subscription
16.0.11029”.
Kind Regards
Henry

Hi Henry,
Just an idea, have you tried pressing Control Tab when that dialog opens? That
way you may cycle back to the spell check tab or whatever it is called.
