Hi Ian,
Are you sure you didn't let the battery go flat? If it was a Windows Mobile
2003 device, then you would lose it if you let the battery go flat. Windows
2005 does not suffer this problem.

Jim, As I understand it, Pocket HAL is undergoing a referb. There's also
Mobile Speak pocket of which I've recently had some limited experience. But
for no apparent reason it fell off the iPac I was using it with.
