Hi Colin,

I would like to join Goldwave for the Blind as I'm sure It
will greatly assist me.

One quick question, I currently have Goldwave v.5.23 and
wondered if I need to uninstall this before downloading the
latest version or will an update suffice.

Many thanks.

Jim Williams

greetings,

goldWave from:

http://www.goldwave.com

it has good access support, the author is very amenable to
suggestions, it
is a good price about $50 or maybe less for a lifetime
licence, it is fairly
basic but has the features most would find useful but cannot
multi-track.
There is another product from the same office which will
multi-track can't
remember it's name.

I am now using GW V5.67 with xP Home, there are good Jaws
scripts available,
free of charge, written mainly by Jim Grimsbey Jr and they
work very well
but then I have Jaws 10 on this and 11 on my desktop
machines.

There is a list called GoldWave4TheBlind where a good many
helpful people
can assist. To join, let me know as it is a closed group,
originally set up
by roger south, I am a co-mod and can subscribe you if you
wish, just let me
know.
