Hi Henry

I think it will be in a folder on your c drive called
converted files or something like that, that is where sound
taxi puts my converted files by default, I am not even sure
what version of windows you are using, it may be different.
The converted folder is on the c drive itself.

Regards

Adrien

Hi David

Many thanks for your reply and confirmation.

That is good news that it may be working-thank goodness , I
have not
designated an output file within settings; for I cannot
locate settings. Do
you know where the default file will be located on
completion of conversion?

Many thanks for all your help

Kind regards

Henry

Henry

Sounds as though it is working. Just read the line which
says 0 percent
with your jaws cursor and it should increase the percentage.

Depending on how long the book is, it will take quite a
while to convert the
whole book. Could be working into the night. You can
convert two books at
once though which speeds things up.

Hi David

I have now downloaded the plug-in and encountered the
following page:
" SoundTaxi Professional 4.5.4
t
Select Remove Play Convert Play Copy to Burn Settings Help
Files Original
Converted iPod
TheWickedGirlsUnabridgedPart1_mp332_A1CFHIDJS... Converting
(0 %)"

Jaws just remains silence despite tabbing around and trying
to use the
applications key, not sure how to select convert-please
could you advise?
Using windows 7 home premium 64 bit and jaws V11.

Kind regards

Henry

Henry,

If you don't download the plug in, you will not be able to
convert your
Audible files. Do that first and we can then look at any
other questions
you have.

I had problems at first, but once these are overcome it is
very
straightforward to use.

Hi Everyone

I'm still trying to convert an audible (.aa) format file to
an mp3.

When I fill in the file details on the front page of sound
taxi and press
enter on "open" I am presented with the following screen:

"SoundTaxi Professional 4.5.4
Media content is protected! You must install Free Media
Processing plug-in
to unprotect the content and start conversion.
http://Protectedmus.com
Later Plug-in website
file(s) will not be converted"

Do I download this plug-in bearing in mind I have not been
able to amend the
default values within settings.

Any help will be greatly appreciated-thank you.

Henry
