Thanks Martin and tom. Unfortunately neither files worked for me. I'm being asked to confirm that the USB cable is connected on the radio by going in to the menu and selecting update. Unfortunately as the radio is currently flashing a blue light I can't do that. I seem to remember previously I wasn't asked to do this and the firmware was able to be installed over the old one.
