Yes, the display is lit up, but we don't know any more than that at this stage. Looks as though this hardly used radio has gone the same way as many which is frankly shameful. After a while these radios seem to just stop. We had one that stopped in this way and could not be revived. I believe there is someone who repairs them, but it costs quite a lot of money.
