I bought a set of wireless speakers for this kind of thing. Two in the pack so theoretically you can transmit in stereo if you like. The pair of speakers I use are mains speakers, so you obviously need a socket nearby when receiving the signal. there are however battery powered ones and some duel powered sets as well. You would probably need a reasonably clear area between transmitter and receiver, IE not to many brick walls. If you're a sound perfectionist its unlikely you'd like this kind of thing because quality does suffer, but for basic listening it definitely does the job! Same set-up as the headphones. Just plug transmitter into PC and off you go.
